Brake pads wearing unevenly – causes?
Inner pads on front are down to metal while outer ones barely worn. Calipers were freed up and greased, but still uneven wear after 10k. Thinking bad sliders again or maybe wrong pads? Any advice before buying replacements?

Combien coûte une plantation de paulownia ?
Coucou, quelqu'un a des infos sur le coût réel pour démarrer une plantation de paulownia ? Prix des plants, préparation du terrain, entretien... Est-ce que c'est accessible pour un particulier avec un budget limité ? Je pense à 50-100 plants pour tester. Les retours sur l'investissement à long terme m'intéressent aussi.

Le coût initial varie : plants certifiés autour de 5-15€ pièce selon variété et quantité, plus la préparation du sol (labour, amendements) qui peut tourner à 500-2000€/ha. Entretien la première année (arrosage, protection) ajoute un peu, mais après c'est faible. Avec 50-100 plants, tu peux tester sur 0,1-0,2 ha pour quelques centaines d'euros. Le retour vient du bois ou biomasse après 3-5 ans, souvent rentable si marché local. J'ai démarré petit et récupéré mon investissement en vendant du bois jeune. Pour un devis approximatif, les prix actuels des plants et des simulations d'investissement, c'est clair sur paulownia Ça évite les surprises.

Uneven pad wear almost always points to sticking caliper pistons or seized sliders- even if they move, they might not return fully. But wrong pad shape or poor quality can worsen it too. When I had this, I went for better-fitting aftermarket pads with anti-rattle clips. Found a good range at https://elartcom.eu/categories/brake-pads-3 - they have pads grouped by axle and car type, including ones with extra shims for smoother operation. Replaced both pads and sliders, chose ceramic for less dust, and wear has been even ever since. Check your caliper rebuild kit too, but good pads make a difference.
